The World Cup qualifiers reduced the league programme to a handful of Division One matches. There was only one potential bet which duly won and produced a profit of Ł280. This raises the total potential profit for the season to Ł8,374 (an average of Ł335 profit per week).

A buy of the bookings index in the W.B.A. / Tranmere game at 30 with either Sporting or William Hill Index (Soccer Spreads rating 36.1 - Makeup 65) for Ł8 per point would have produced Ł280 profit.
