A disappointing start to the season's reviews with a very bad result on a corner supremacy bet (normally a type bet that we do well on) ensuring that the week would end up showing a loss. We had three winning bets out of six but two late goals turned both total goal bets from winners into losers and overall the week showed a loss of 124. These potential bets are determined using the guidelines on the Weekly Reviews page.

A sell of the total goals in the Norwich / Crystal Palace game at 2.8 with IG Index (Soccer Spreads rating 2.35 - Makeup 3) for 135 per goal would have produced a loss of 27.

A buy of the Wimbledon mini performance against Burnley at 21 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 26.7 - Makeup 25) for 13 per point would have produced 52 profit.

A sell of the Walsall corner supremacy over Gillingham at 1 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating minus 1.4 - Makeup 6) for 90 per corner would have produced a loss of 450.

A sell of the bookings index in the Walsall / Gillingham game at 33 (generally available, Soccer Spreads rating 23.8 - Makeup 20) for 13 per point would have produced 169 profit.

A sell of the total goals in the Rotherham / Stoke game at 2.5 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 2.08 - Makeup 3) for 125 per goal would have produced a loss of 63.

A sell of the Crystal Palace mini performance against West Ham at 13 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 6.5 - Makeup 0) for 15 per point would have produced 195 profit.

Please note that potential bets are only recorded if the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the best spread available is at least a quarter of the spread volatility (e.g. in order to bet on the total corners in a Premiership match the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the spread being offered must be at least 0.9). The bet size is determined by using the Excel spreadsheets which are sent to all members. For a full explanation of how these bets are determined please see 'How to use Soccer Spreads' and the Weekly Reviews).
