A quieter week with the FA Cup Third round matches reducing the league programme to only two games. These produced two bets which resulted in a small profit for the week of 123. This raises the total potential profit for the season so far to 5,904 (an average of over 390 profit per week). These potential bets are determined using the guidelines on the Weekly Reviews page.

A sell of the Southampton bookings against Liverpool at 13 with Spreadex (Soccer Spreads rating 7.4 - Makeup 0) for 21 per point would have produced 273 profit.

A buy of the Southampton corner supremacy over Liverpool at 0.5 with Spreadex (Soccer Spreads rating 2.7 - Makeup -1) for 100 per corner would have produced a loss of 150.

Please note that potential bets are only recorded if the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the best spread available is at least a quarter of the spread volatility (e.g. in order to bet on the total corners in a Premiership match the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the spread being offered must be at least 0.9). The bet size is determined by using the formula: (840 * Difference between the Soccer Spreads Rating and the spread) / (Volatility * Volatility). For a full explanation of how these bets are determined please see 'How to use Soccer Spreads' and the Weekly Reviews).
