Review for week ending 04/10/01

Another good start to a season with Wimbledon producing something of a shock result by beating Man City 4-0 at Maine Road. The two other potential bets resulted in small losses but overall the profit for the first reviewed week of the season came to �660. 	A sell of the cross corners in the Barnsley / Portsmouth game at 31 with IG Index (Soccer Spreads rating 24.4 - Makeup 33) for �12 per point would have produced a loss of �24.
	A buy of the Wimbledon mini performance against Man City at 17 with Spreadex (Soccer Spreads rating 24.8 - Makeup 65) for �16 per point would have produced �768 profit.
	A sell of the Nottingham Forest mini performance against Stockport at 29 with either IG or Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 23.5 - Makeup 35) for �14 per point would have produced a loss of �84.

Please note that potential bets are only recorded if the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the best spread available is at least a quarter of the spread volatility (e.g. in order to bet on the total corners in a Premiership match the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the spread being offered must be at least 0.9).
